Installation or replacement?
Installation means there was no roof there before — new construction, a room addition, a lanai or patio cover, a detached garage. If you have an existing roof coming off first, that is a roof replacement, which is a different scope and a different quote.
Built for Florida code
New roofs in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk counties have to meet Florida Building Code wind requirements, and inland Tampa Bay is not treated the same as the coast. Getting that right is not optional and it is not just paperwork — it drives the fastener schedule, the nailing pattern, and the underlayment spec.

Choosing a material
We install GAF architectural shingle, stone-coated metal, and concrete and clay tile. On new construction you have a free hand that a re-roof does not always give you, so it is worth a real conversation about lifespan and wind rating before defaulting to the cheapest option.
